The current software has been shaped by the feedback of the contact lens specialists that we work with. We are always ready to listen and care passionately about making that extra step to help you be more successful in your practice. PRESS RELEASE -  20TH JANUARY 2013 Finally a device to enable perfect fit for all types of contact lenses.  Eaglet Eye will be demonstrating the latest evolution of the ESP (Eye Surface Profiler) at the Global  Specialty Lens Symposium (GSLS), Las Vegas, January 24th 2013.  Due to go on sale in mid-2013 the ESP provides the most extensive, yet precise measurement of the eye -  essential for the safe and comfortable fit of contact lenses, especially specialty lenses. The ESP is the first instrument to measure up to 20mm of the front surface of he eye, covering all of the  cornea and a large part of the sclera (conjunctiva).  While conventional devices focus on curvature, ESP  also calculates sagittal height.  Using over 250,000 measurement points to map a true topography of the  eye. Benefits are apparent to contact lens manufacturers, practitioners and contact lens wearers themselves. For lens manufacturers the use of ESP opens up the opportunity and demand for specialty and  'made to measure' lenses.  Practitioners are able to select the optimal lens quickly and easily, reducing 'chair' time and  improving patient care, and patient retention.  And a perfectly fitting lens ultimately improves comfort and satisfaction for the wearer. D. Robert Iskander, PhD, D.Sc. comments,  "The ESP has a real potential to become an optometry clinical  tool that could substitute the currently used videokeratoscopes".  Eaglet Eye is driven by the desire to improve visual acuity through enhancing contact lens filling  procedures.  Eaglet Eye CEO, Arnoud Snepvangers said "Good eyesight contributes to the quality of life  and well fitted lenses help fulfill this need.  ESP will launch a new era for the contact lens sector".
